Baby Girl enjoys all of her toys, but these seemed to be the front runners of May.
When Violet was two months old we signed her up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library which is a non-profit organization that sends books to children once a month until they are a couple of years old (3 maybe?). This book is not a sturdy board book and at first I thought it would be destroyed in a week, but it has held up surprisingly well! There are other books in the Sassy series and I’m contemplating picking up another one for her since she loves this so much.
This is something my mom picked up, but since we currently live with my parents Violet has full run of Grammy’s toys. The two rings make a slight rattle sound and the wooden beads twist around to make different shapes. This was a super cheap toy, I think it was around $3, and she is getting a lot of use out of it.
It is very well made, meaning the duck finger puppet is very secure and the board is super thick. It’s also smaller than most of her other books so I think that makes a difference. She always has time for Little Duck. Oh! Sam’s carries a pack of two other books that are in this series if you are in the market for something like this.
Ah Sophie La Girafe! This toy has a cult following around the world and at first I was NOT going to get her…but it was gifted to Violet by her Irish Grandparents and Aunt and boy am I glad! She LOVES this thing. She prefers it to many of her other chew toys and it’s easy for her to hold and get into her mouth. The spots have started to wear a bit, but it’s no big deal. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a teether or just a fun squeaky toy for their babe.
Well, that’s what Violet found super interesting in May. If your baby has a favorite (or a few favorites) let me know in the comments! I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting toys for Vi.
